Rav Avraham Kalmanowitz

Av Beis Din of Tiktin and Rosh Yeshivas Mir in the U.S. (1891-1965). He was a talmid of Slobodka, Rav of Rakov, and a close friend of Rav Chaim Ozer Grodzenski. During World War II, he was one of the leading personalities of the Vaad Hatzalah.
