Plein Air Balcony Painting Explore

My favorite space in our apartment is our marpeset, Hebrew for balcony. My apartment is are on the top story, no elevator, so we walk up and down 52 steps every day just to enter/leave the apt, those stairs are like our built-in gym membership. Being on the top floor, after climbing our steps higher and higher, we are rewarded with most stunning views off our balcony. We see Old Bet Shemesh, the Sorek Valley, vineyards, fields, forest, and even the outskirts of Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean Ocean on a clear day. Don't even get me started on the clouds, the magnificent sunsets, and the flocks of wild green ring-neck parakeets! Oh how I love sitting on my porch with my watercolors, basking in it all.
